For over 90 years we have been constantly seeking ways to do our part for the wider community. This year we partnered with the St Vincent de Paul Society for the 2016 Vinnies CEO Sleepout.
SNP Security donated security guards for the entire duration of the event, held at Carriageworks Sydney from Thursday 23 June to Friday 24 June. Our contribution means the money saved on security can now go towards supporting those experiencing homelessness.
The overnight event is an annual fundraiser that attracts prominent business and community leaders to affect change and raise money for the homeless. Since 2006 the event has raised over $30m!
The money raised for the St Vincent de Paul Society will go towards funding new projects, supporting existing services, expanding their programs in the areas of crisis accommodation and domestic violence support, and enabling access to counselling, occupational skills, legal advice, and education.
At SNP, we strive to contribute to charities and events which help to improve the lives and wellbeing of community around us. For more information about the 2016 Vinnies CEO Sleepout, or to make a donation, visit: www.ceosleepout.org.au
