SNP have strategically partnered with the leadership department at the University of Wollongong to deliver a 6 month leadership program to our employees. The 6 month program supports the SNP Motivational Leadership Program which aims to empower and grow our leaders skillset.
On Thursday 28th January, 15 promising SNP employees attended the first of these workshops for the year. Those attending comprised of Branch and Account managers, team leaders and supervisors. The workshop required attendees to create presentations and action plans prior to the workshop. These action plans were a proactive approach to applying the Self Determination Theory, that is, how to motivate, engage and retain employees. The overall outcome from the action plans was to increase a competitive edge among employees.
The workshops provide a great opportunity for SNP employees to continue to develop their leadership skills, and immediate feedback from attendees has been positive and encouraging. We look forward to hosting many more workshops to continuously develop our leaders through the Motivational Leadership program throughout 2016!
