Risk Management Planning
SNP Security works in partnership with major guarding sites to develop a Security Risk Management Plan and implement Security Polices and Procedures. SNP’s approach to security risk management is a discipline that helps you:
- Establish security policies and procedures
- Assess risks to better understand vulnerabilities
- Implement the right amount of protection
- Measure and enforce compliance
- Cater for your individual circumstances -
eg. building maintenance, gate duties, special events, mobile patrols, concierge, dog support services, system management, aviation security, electronic security.
SNP utilises processes that comply with AS/NZS 4360-2004 - Risk Management. Our in-house risk assessment experts are accredited to Certificate V Risk Assessment.
Site Operating Procedures (SOP)
Site Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adapted to specific SNP guard sites, forming part of our ongoing quality assurance programme. SNP staff commit to Key Performance Indicators, monitoring their achievements against the Service Level Agreement with the customer. Incident reports are generated for each site and clients kept informed of any issue in line with the established SOP.
Recruitment and Training
SNP Security Officers are hand picked; we demand strong personnel skills. Rigorous recruitment screening is performed by our degree qualified Human Resources team, with assessment for technical, verbal and physical capabilities. Candidates are also assessed against the company values, to ensure that our Security Officers will work as a team and maintain customer focus.
Recruitment is backed up with a comprehensive training program. Site specific training is delivered by our Audit / Supervisory team, covering the specific needs of the site including emergency evacuation, OHS, risk minimization, hazard identification and access control.
SNP provides the opportunity for guards and Supervisors to advance their skills, by participating in certificate courses in service and business, recognised within the Australian qualifications framework.
Account Management
To deliver the highest standard of customer service, a dedicated account manager is allocated to each permanent guarding site.
Able to respond to any request or concern, the Account Manager is your single port of call for all related security services, including invoicing, ad hoc requests and electronic security.
Available around the clock, the account manager is further supported by the administration, rostering and personnel departments.
