The recent floods in Queensland (QLD) and New South Wales (NSW) have had a major impact on many Australians. With several flood-affected northern NSW and QLD towns declared natural disaster zones, hundreds of residents have been forced to flee inundated homes and businesses.
At SNP, safety is our number one value. As a number of our clients were affected during this time, SNP immediately put additional security measures in place to ensure the safety of our people and our customers, whilst keeping sites operational where safely possible.
The following measures were put in place:
- A dedicated contact number and email for the SNP Emergency Centre was set up for all urgent enquiries. The SNP Emergency Centre was established in Sydney, away from the disaster threat, and in conjunction with our 24hr Operations Centre.
- SNP’s National Safety Team monitored emergency updates to ensure appropriate safety measures and actions were taken.
- Safety alerts were communicated to all employees within the affected areas as conditions changed.
- Emergency staff were identified and on standby to cover affected areas for any sites that required additional support or the need to surge up.
SNP Security is dedicated to providing safe and seamless security services, even during times of crisis.
