WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO SNP?

In previous roles I dealt a lot with SNP and always thought the quality of their work was high. Also, SNP employees often spoke favourably of their company.
Another attraction was that SNP values the contribution from its employees and recognises long term success based on the quality of its people.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CAREER PATH WITH SNP?

I have an extensive background in security. You could say I fell into it 20 years ago and gradually built up my experience with each project and new role.  It is an industry dominated by males, so being a female has presented some interesting challenges and obstacles. However, these are usually successfully managed through good engagement processes.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT SECURITY?

I have always enjoyed the challenges associated with managing guarding and maintenance contracts as well as keeping abreast of new technologies. For example, camera technology has dramatically changed in the last 15 years.

Security employees are such a diverse group, working with this diversity is rewarding. Now at SNP I have a customer base to serve, this adds new challenges which I’m looking forward to.

I love the work environment and camaraderie that is formed with co-workers. I love being a part of something larger that makes a difference. I love when people care and that you have flexibility when needed.

I love people I work with. They are practically my family. Every day is different and I get to interact with such a varied group. It means I am always learning and I am always busy.

I believe great companies attract great people. SNP Security is great company with great tradition and history. The quality of company you work for plays big role in employee happiness at work place.

I love the environment I work in. I love that my job challenges me every day in different ways. I like the fact that company offers opportunities to progress within company and support all workers.
