Since 2012, we’ve been on a fascinating HR journey to take care of our people so that they can take care of others! We’ve wanted to be able to harness the strengths of every one of our 2,500 employees and celebrate their huge diversity which spans more than 60 nationalities so that we can deliver a difference to the market.
One of the most successful ways we’ve done this is through our Special Thanks & Recognition (STAR) Rewards Program which has allowed employees to nominate each other for exceptional service, achievements and innovative ideas.
We’ve also founded our very own Learning Academy, using e-learning to make personal development accessible, and given our managers access to a bespoke leadership program to encourage their creativity across the business.
Last month we launched a partnership with Macquarie University to research how to bridge the diversity gap which we hope it will bring us closer to demonstrating the business value of diverse employees in the workplace.
We are now proud to say we have one of the leading cultures in the industry. Last year the team’s work was recognised by the security industry’s benchmark ASIAL when they declared us their winner in gender diversity- truly an achievement that challenges the traditional paradigm of the tough male security guard.
