On Friday 17 May we bid farewell to Chief Financial Officer, Bill Mason, after 21 years of dedicated service to the company. Bill began his career in 1997 when SNP was a $20M business operating in a small office in both Sydney and Newcastle. Today Certis Australia is a $350M operation with a global reach and strong foundations.
Over the last 20 years he has been an absolute key part of the significant growth, change and professionalism of the SNP business. From his first day, Bill has been an absolute stalwart of the business, an outstanding CFO in every respect. There are many pivotal moments worth highlighting in his career, as Bill has been involved in almost every aspect of the business from planning to execution that has led to the growth and success of the business.
In his farewell speech, Bill credited his team as his biggest achievement in his professional life, who have all held loyal positions with the company under his leadership and guidance. After 21 years Bill admitted he had no interest in finance at all, but was driven by leadership and the chance to make a positive impact on his coworker’s lives, both in their professional and personal development.
The close knit Finance team were all sad to say their final good bye to Bill, however Shared Services Manager, Amanda Griffiths, conveyed in her speech the overwhelming feeling of thanks for his leadership over the years and also happiness to see him take time to enjoy his retirement.
Congratulations on a successful career filled with many achievements and growth. We wish you a happy and healthy retirement Bill
