SNP is a fifth generation family business that has traded continually since its foundation.
Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL): Indigenous Engagement 2016
This award is presented to an organisation that has demonstrated innovation and excellence in increasing indigenous employment in management and leadership roles. SNP are proud to be recognised for our One Team One Dream program, which aims to widen the accessibility of job opportunities for Indigenous workers in the security industry to make a sustainable difference for the Indigenous community.

This award recognises a successful security partnership that delivers outstanding performance. SNP was proud to be a finalist based on our partnership with Sydney Airport – One Aviation Security Team. The One Aviation Security Team represents the alignment of SNP and Sydney Airport’s organisational goals, focused on team standards, performance and behaviour.

For the first time in history, ASIAL partnered with the global Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) for the launch in Australia. SNP was honoured to receive the Outstanding Security Partnership Award, based on our intensive working partnership with one of Australia’s most iconic airline’s – Qantas. As winners of this award, SNP now has the opportunity to represent Australia in the international OSPA awards.
Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL): Gender Diversity 2015
The ASIAL awards acknowledge the outstanding achievements of security professionals from across the country. SNP recognises that the security sector has historically been a non-traditional environment for women, and we are honoured to be recognised for our commitment to gender diversity in the security industry by receiving the ASIAL ‘Gender Diversity’ Award.
SNP’s Managing Director Tom Roche was awarded the ASM medal by the Australian Security Medals Foundation (ASMF). The medal recognises the exceptional career and character of a person within the security industry. This medal acknowledges Tom’s consistent contribution of protective and innovative security services to the Australian community.
Australian Security Valour Medal (ASVM) 2012 – 2015
Each year a small number of security personnel are awarded an Australian Security Valour Medal. Over the years, a number of SNP security guards have been honoured with this prestigious award, recognising their outstanding acts of valour and courage above and beyond ‘the call of duty’.
International LearnX Award for the Best E-learning Project 2014
SNP has a strong focus on innovative learning and we have long recognised the value of helping our employees become skilled in their roles. SNP’s “Catch Me If You Can” E-learning module was awarded a gold award by E-learning Age Magazine, Europe’s leading magazine and website for E-learning users.
NSW Business Chamber Award for Innovation Excellence 2012 & 2014
In 2012, SNP received the NSW Business Chamber’s Roger Pysden Business Innovation Award for Excellence: an acknowledgement of the significant investments to transform the security industry with education, training and an emphasis on customer service.
In November 2014, SNP was awarded the state award for Excellence in Innovation at the NSW Business Chamber State Awards. This award recognises SNP’s significant investments to transform the security industry with education, training and an emphasis on customer service.
SNP Security Canines together with their handlers were recognised by the Australian Defence Force Trackers and War Dog Association for more than five years of service to the Australian government.
