SNP is proud to support Airport Safety Week which ran from 17-21 October 2016. Now in its third year, the campaign is a collaboration between the Australian Airports Association and the NZ Airports Association and aims to promote safe working and operating environments at airports.
We support some of Australia’s largest Aviation contracts with services such as passenger and baggage screening, control room operations, greet and assist services, vehicle and foot patrols, VIP and group escorts, asset protection, asset guarding and more.
We kicked off Airport Safety Week with the delivery of cupcakes to our team at Sunshine Coast Airport. Throughout the week, our frontline team and managers held BBQs at Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarie and Albury airports, with our team at Canberra sponsoring the Airport Safety Week safety quiz to promote awareness amongst employees.
Representatives from SNP also delivered instructional safety packs to each airport. The packs included information on our ‘Fresh Pair of Eyes’ safety campaign and instructions on how to report near misses and hazards. Employees were encouraged to discuss SNP’s obligation to provide a safe environment for all airport users, and pledge their commitment by signing their name on the safety pull-up banners provided.
At SNP, safety is our core value and we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for our employees and all airport users.
