Sustainability is a fundamental commitment that SNP take very seriously. We are determined to make a positive contribution to the environment and consider not only economic factors, but social issues as well.
Statement of Responsibility
- Meet our responsibilities to all of our stakeholders (direct or indirect), in order to establish and maintain sustainable success for the company and therefore achieve long-term sustainable success for the community at large
- Integration of self-regulation into our business model incorporating issues such as corporate conscience, corporate citizenship, social performance and sustainable business practice
- Encourage proactive participation of all employees in activities that have a positive impact on the environment, consumers, fellow employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere
Sustainability Advantage Program
SNP joined the “Sustainability Advantage” program, managed within the Office of Environment and Heritage. After being awarded ‘Bronze’ status we compiled a number of substantial initiatives in 2013 aimed at achieving continuous improvement resulting in being awarded ‘Silver’ Partner Status in March 2014.
Initiatives such as the implementation of recommendations from a Level 2 Energy audit and a Water Efficiency audit on our freehold premises at West Ryde head office have achieved a further 10% reduction in energy use and a water usage which is lower than best practice for similar commercial buildings.
